Awesome guns. They only made them for 3 years I believe. They made them in 45/70 (most prevalent), 444 Marlin, and 450 Marlin.
I have had probably 5 or 6 throughout the last 20 years. All were top notch. Still have a few but they mostly just hang out in the safe. These are great guns for hunting (but loud).

Sometimes I want to get rid of mine because it dont get used enough.....but then.....I cant imagine not having it qround....to look at its beefy profile.....feel its heft.....admire its sraight grained walnut.....so back it goes to the safe.Guess Im gonna hang onto the ole girl till I see more grey.These are nice guns....if you dont have one yet,do yourself a favor and(pull the trigger already)Surprisingly they are civil at the bench,much like a gentle giant....that is until the are...STOKED!!!...GLWS
