Item Description: Hello all!

I have a M38 Swedish Mauser, manufactured in 1942 by Husqvarna. This rifle is in excellent condition and includes the bayonet and scabbard.

The barrel is threaded which was done by the Swedish for the installation of a wood bullet shredder device. I do have the original plastic thread protector, and a flash hider and steel thread protector that will come with it.

Looking to sale, but would entertain a trade offer for a Arisaka Type 99 with aircraft sights and monopod in good condition.

There was a device that threaded on that when the wood bullets were fired in training instead of a wood projectile coming out and headed down range it chewed them up and spit out the shreds.
So what was the wood bullet shredder for? I’ve seen the wooden bullets but not that device. Nice rifle.
