FS/FT Colt Match Target

Up for sale is my Colt Match Target chambered in .223. Low round count. Really don’t want to let it go but looking at another rifle.

It’s 5.56. Look at the barrel markings. Old Colt receivers are marked 223 because nobody knew what 5.56 was. The barrels are marked 5.56.

to my knowledge Colt never made a 223 only AR.

Nice to know. I have a Colt Match Competition HBAR marked .223, but barrel is stamped 5.56 like yours.
