Item Description: I have a 1979 Mercury 20 hp that has pretty much been rebuilt - water pump - impeller - carburetor - coil pack - wiring - shut off button - So it runs as it should - 1979 Mercury era 2stroke smoke and all - It looks pretty darn good for its age which is why I put some money into it - I bought it thinking I’d use it on my 14 foot johnboat which is rated for a 20 and as it turns out it is just too damn fast for me - Like not safe fast - Gonna stick with the 9.9 I’ve got on it - I’ve got right at $1600 in it so that’s pretty much around what I value it at but I’ll negotiate - I don’t have to sell it - I may just look for a 16 - 18 foot to put it on but it’s for sale or trade till that time - Hate seeing it set up after my investment
