512 doesn’t have NV. I believe you have a 552 sir, but the optic appears legitimate as it has the nitrogen screw in the bottom of the mount. Does reticle turn green when NV is pressed? Legitimate reticles will disappear to the naked eye when using the NV button, fakes turn from green to red.

It appears you are correct, I learned something new today. Yes, the reticle disappears when I press the NV button. Thank you, I will edit my ad to reflect the change.
