I just spoke with him and it still has the original gas in it, albeit with fuel treatment. I doubt even treated fuel will last that long, lol. I’m going to throw a charger on it to see if we can get anything out of the battery.

Drain the gas, drain the float bowl on the carb. Put some fresh gas in with some seafoam or berryman b12 and see if it will run.

Just open the gas tank and PRAY that the whole inside isn't a giant rust farm.
Okay, my neighbor just got back from Texas and he is doing much better.
I checked the tank and it looks new inside still. He told me he put none of “that corn liquor ****” in it.
The battery was bad so I ran up to the parts store and got a battery and got the thing running.
I took it for a ride in the neighborhood it it will definitely need the carb cleaned as it will not idle unless the choke is on. It’s also a little rough running unless you’re in the top 3/4 of the throttle range.
I should be pretty open this weekend if anyone wants to see it.
