Item Description: If you know, you know. KLRs aren’t great at anything but decent at EVERYTHING.
This is thing is ready to go: Happy Trails skidplate, Dirtracks crash bars, Lexx exhaust (stock included), Eagle Mike jet kit, Progressive fork springs and Kouba lowering link (dropped 1.25”), Tusk footpegs, new sprockets (16/43) and X-ring chain, new brake pads, fresh oil and filter, and new (<100 miles) Dsport tires. Will also include a set of more street oriented tires with about 50% tread.
Body has been painted (it was a fugly blue originally). Makes it fairly easy to scratch but also easy to touch up. Five minutes with a spray can after each ride makes it look new again.
Just under 19k miles and will go up some as I ride it regularly. Doesn’t seem to have the oil burning issue some 2008 and 2009 models had. I’d confidently start anywhere on it.
Feel free to come ride it as much as you’d like with cash in hand as I have nothing to hide and no concerns. Just keep in mind it is a 12 year old dualsport, not a new Roadglide.
