Item Description: The real deal, 1917 machine gun ammo box from WWI.
The leather strap is broken, replacements are available online for restoration.
Well made finger jointed construction, with flush fitting and nicely working latch. Slots are cut in to hang onto the gun for belt fed goodness.
It was painted long ago, I don't know if it was original or not. This is nice in a man cave or for realistic reenactments.
Asking $50, and can meet between Lake Oconee and Henry County. I will ship at buyer's expense.
