No I knew they were gonna be good. Thought about doing some more this weekend with biscuits but wife is going out of town. Gotta keep tweaking them.

Fried up some tenderloin for sandwiches. After cutting and hammering they were dipped in a mixture of buttermilk, egg, salt, pepper and a little bit of cayenne pepper. Then breaded with crushed saltines. Fried with lard in a cast iron pan on the BGE. They were pretty good. View attachment 2897701

Mighty Fine Table Fare!! But where is the thick gravy? I went to the processor today, Picked up a Monster given to me by D_Max . My freezer is stuffed full and tonight I am gonna soak the Butter beans for tomorrow...Oh and of course sweet cornbread..Well done Sir!
