Depending on where the crack is, the block may be salvageable, but the one with the hole in it is toast.
Post some pictures of what you see, it may be an easy fix or a write-off but it's impossible to tell without seeing it.

Just found and purchased a new block locally, any ODTers pros at rebuilds? would like to put this one together. I'm sure I can do it myself just short on time right now, anybody knowledgeable or interested?

Have a good engine and block any ODT mechanics willing to help me out on a rebuild? I actually have 3 engines to pick and pull from....
