For you shrimp lovers..

I was stationed on Oahu and had to go to the commissary on base to get decent prices on most things. I did hit the local fish market and get fresh tuna. Occasionally a whale carcass would drift close enough for local fisherman to get on a school of tuna. The price would drop to $2.99lb for the good fresh stuff. I would also dive for lobster when they were in season. We ate lobster and parrot fish ate many a meal. I sure do like my wild caught Ga shrimp though. I go down to the coast in June when the season opens and buy 150lbs of the 21-25 count shrimp. The freeze really well and are big and tasty.
