If you tailgate on other side of track alcohol is allowed but not in grandstands. Not sure if they wand you on entry but they are explicit on no firearms.

It really is a lot of fun. The owners are good folks. Family atmosphere in grandstands. Used to tailgate when I was younger but it gets rowdy over there at times.
