Flashlights.

good replies guys. I am a flashlight junkie. I have to many honestly.
I even have then brand new in package still around here.

to this very day, my fav flashlight is my StreamLight junior LED.
a damn good light but wish the batteries lasted a tad longer.
its my go to. never a let down from StreamLight

I'm tired of buying flashlights so my next one will be the Surefire Peacekeeper, runs off rechargeable 18650's which I already use. I've just gone through several fenix's and nitecore and I'm tired of buying Chinese crap that breaks and is hard to warranty.

I just don't have the time to recharge these style lights every day or twice a day
as I have in the past just for work. SOL on recharging when the power goes out.

ok guys I'm wanting your input here on this.
whats the best bang for the buck flashlight?

here's the catch. its gotta have good lumins VS battery life,
and the batteries cant cost a fortune either.
these high end dead in a hour flashlight just isn't practical.
nice yes but in a "situation" most of the time not practical.
Streamlight junior LED , uses 2 AA batteries.

In for info, after this storm I'm going to have to rethink my flashlight situation.

I'm generally well prepared ya know. preparedness was a way of life growing up.
so I'm usually a head of the game. I make my lists and check them 100 times.
well guess what slipped through? I couldn't believe it.
LIGHTERs. yep. I have everything for building bigger fires ya know.
but it was the damn cig lighter that gave me troubles. only had one and it was sucking.
sure I could have flint/steel a smaller stick or dryer lint, but the simplest thing
was a problem.
oh and the candles too. ive been stocking up at garage sells over a few yrs.
1/2 these cheap ass candles were of no use. pillar candles of all things.
out they went today. dimly lit and burned to fast causing the wax to puddle up
and put out the flame to quickly. tapered candles are still the way to go I guess.
