all depends on how different the new motor and the old are/were.

if the difference is large enough may just want to go with something programmable like a megasquirt and find someone local who can give it a true tune.

I’m not sure what the build date of the truck is but I would see what came with the truck first and compare to the new engine. Preferably, it would be wise to swap to an 0411 pcm if it doesn’t already have it...or if the other motor was newer and did use the 0411. Much faster and more options in tuning if this is to be even a mild performance upgrade. Spartan Performance in Auburn is a very good tuner and very knowledgeable, I would imagine they can take care of you. I had mine reflashed for $150 iirc.
