So, one of my RIA 2011's stove piped with 9mm. Checked it, compared to my others, no feedramp!

So contacted RIA warranty, had me send it back. Just received it back, sent the same barrel, they dremeled a "ramp" in the grip. :mmph: Still looks like it will stovepipe, especially with JHP's.

What say you?

A "stovepipe", in its classic sense, is an Ejection issue, not a Feeding issue to be fixed by any modification to the Feed Ramp.

If the nose of the feeding round is hitting the Feed Ramp and the back end of the cartridge is being pushed down so that the round ends up more-vertical than usual, that is usually a magazine problem (weak spring).
