First time hog hunting in Ga

Hey guys. I do most of my hog hunting in Fl and Tx. This is the first winter I’ll be living in Atlanta and was wanting to get some pointers for public land that’s decent for hog hunting.

Visit the all you can eat buffets usually several in there

I’ve seen them on every WMA in north Ga but they’re so few and far between I couldn’t recommend a sure spot.

So Ga isn’t as glorious of a big stomping ground as Fl and Tx? I’m game to go anywhere within 2 hours of atlanta.

Many WMAs have hogs. Probably something online with DNR about them

Fort Benning is eat up with them. I have hunted them there, you need guide.

Okmulgee and Okey woods most of coastal ga for public but anything south of I20 will have hogs. The mountain ones are there if you ate younger than me!
