Ha as soon as it dries completely Ill pull the pins out. Helps keep the skin from shifting as it dries.

Honestly I thought the raccoon with the pins was suppose to be imitating him getting hit with quills and you used pins because people would not be able to not touch them.

Lol nope the hide will draw up and pull away from the eyes and especially the mouth if its not pinned down. I pulled the pins on the coon after about 2 weeks drying time. Ill do the same for this bobcat.

Not outstanding work but not bad for a second mount I guess. Still need to touch up around nose and ears.

Finished my buddy’s coyote mount today. Far from outstanding work but im still learning. He was tickled with it so I was pleased.
