If you put it on it an ant hill be sure to stake it down somehow. Dogs and such will pick em and chew on em. I’ve had to chase my Great Danes around a few times trying to get em back.

This for sure... even if it's in a fenced yard with no dogs squirrels will get to those antlers.

I boil in water/oxyclean, then second boil in water/peroxide. There are some great videos on YouTube.

Also be mindful of squirrel cutting their teeth on the antlers if left out. Left a nice rack in the back yard a few years ago not thinking nothing else about head laying in the tree lol... darn squrriel got me for 3 of the tips.
