I need to ship a shotgun to get some work on it. I know there is no need to use an FFL since it is not being transferred. Just needing some recommendations on who to use for shipping and how best to do the shipping.
I contacted the local UPS store and they said I needed to go to hub. So rather than repeat this call several times, I thought I would seek the advice of the all-knowing ODT'ers.
Thank you

I'm pretty sure you can ship this through the U.S. Postal Service. Call your local post office to check for sure. I have used them in the past to ship a few rifles with no problems. Don't think you could ship a handgun through them but long guns are fine.

Box it up without sealing it, take it to the ups hub, let them inspect it, pay them about 20 bucks badda bing badda boom, forget about it.
