Now that would be cool. Big block with a modern twist. If you're going restomod, look into the Ford 7.3 Godzilla engine. A modern day big block pushrod, once you have that thing ready for an engine, shouldn't be hard to find a wrecked F250 or F350 to swap it in. Or buy the crate engine for $7k, bolts up to the 4.6, 5.0 modular transmission.
This model has been my all time favorite Mustang! Sweet find, I'd keep it that color too. I should have picked one up 20 years ago when they were easier to find & better priced.
Family deal basically. The lady i bought from was my dads friend who was basically my uncleWow, 5k was a steal!
That has potential. Love to see her when she's finished.View attachment 3221949 View attachment 3221950 So i have been looking at this car since i was a child. Im 37 now i bought it yesterday. Its a 1967 mustang fastback Gta S code car with a 390fe motor. Car has been sitting under this lean-to of the barn for 40 plus year. Very little to no rust on body and pans. Gonna take a couple days to dig her out of the jungle that surrounds it. But she will be well worth it.
No way ,if your gonna spend stupid money on it I'd take it to Jeff Lilly in texas, One of the top mustang restorer shops in the worldIf I had a car like that I'd take it to Danny at Counts Kustoms in Vegas.
