We've been at our house for 10 years now. I've had chickens here for 6 years. We've had foxes that have lived here to our knowledge for 8 years. Over the last 6 years we've seen them several times running across our side yard. We've never seen, heard or found evidence of foxes around the chicken coop. Last month a neighbor stopped a fox from running down the road with our chicken in it's mouth, then a few days ago my wife was outside and two foxes were trying to figure out how to get into our baby duck pen. When she walked up to them they just turned and looked at her until she got a few feet away screaming at them. Not sure what to make of this sudden bravery and I am not a fan since every other year we get a neighborhood alert for a rabid fox being trapped.

We’ve got one that runs across the back of our property near a pond. I’ve seen it several times but it’s gone before I can get my camera on.

I've seen a few red foxes in different parts of the county. The strangest thing I ever saw was a red fox running in a pack with three wild/stray dogs.
