FFL Transfer Question

The USPS doesn’t allow handguns person to person. That’s true. Doesn’t mean it’s not legal to do so, you just have to use a different carrier.

A contract carrier requiring it to go through an FFL doesn’t make it illegal. It’s their rule; not the ATF’s.

So the bottomline actually is… it’s perfectly legal to ship a handgun, person to person; in-state - provided you can find a carrier willing to do so.

USPS, FedEx and UPS aren’t the only possibilities out there.

And you can use the Redneck Delivery service, "Bubba is going that way to see his momma, he can drop it off for you"

BUT

If Bubba is going because he is has to check in with his parole officer, you should probably pass.

I don't know why otherwise thoughtful, intelligent people freeze up at the idea that you can actually transfer a gun person to person using a delivery service.
