Well it happened again, Feinstein has submitted the assault weapons ban bill that she submits every year. Only this time it'll probably pass the house given the results with HR 8 and HR 1446.

It's odd that they didn't call out the PMR 30 specifically like they did with virtually every other semi-automatic pistol...

Maybe, though I don't think it's time to panic on it yet. The bill's still DOA in the Senate unless the dems go ahead and nuke the filibuster.

This bill has been submitted quite a few times, and basically the only thing that changes is the year they put at the top. Even the list of exempted firearms is still titled "FIREARMS EXEMPTED BY THE ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN OF 2017" in the bill. Think the PMR 30 would be included though since it looks like it defines an "assault pistol" as any pistol with a detachable magazine and one feature, like a threaded barrel.
