Yep, this could have happened in Georgia too. I'm all for animal conservation and letting things be, but do keep your gun on you when you're out hiking in the forests and mountains...

scary as all hell but was never all that threatening. obviously backing him outta the area with her cubs and just wanted him gone.

He obviously sees cubs in the road and approaches them???? He must be mentally challenged or a Democrat. Maybe tomorrow he’ll see bear cubs and try to walk up to them. Another thought is who goes hiking in bear and cougar country without a firearm. My thought is it would be better if Darwin weeded this one out of the gene pool.

Uh yeah, because as he said, "I came up on the cubs, obviously that's why I pulled out my phone, to take pictures of the wildlife." I heard someone tried that once with a moose...
