The great thing about a freezer like that is that they are made to have parts replaced as need be, they're NOT a device that is made to be thrown away when it quits cooling, you simply get it serviced.

Not at all. Glass door means all visible, sweats, and not as insulated.

Have you listened to the unit run? They are very loud compared to domestic units. About the only quiet commercial units are Hoshizaki.

Also uses 4-5 times the energy the domestic one does.

As I stated earlier, if you are in and out of the unit all day it might make sense.

We sell 5-6 million dollars worth of these from our warehouse every year, but do I have one at home? No way.
