I recently purcahsed my new EDC knife. I have been toting a meyrco 18xray auto, it was sweet no doubt. But, now I have a cold steel. It is not your everyday cold steel knife. This knife is designed by On Site Machine Works Inc in Carrollton GA. There are no fancy springs, no thumb knobs and no buttons, but this knife will deploy faster than any auto or assisted open knive I have ever seen. It has a notch cut in the top of the blade and just a slight twist coming out of your pocket and it is open when it clears your pocket. Sure there are others with a similar design but from my experience using the others, their notch is not as reliable for "catching" everytime. We all know cold steel makes some fine steel then you add the design to the knife from OSMW Inc and together you have IMO the best EDC knife on the market. Not to mention at a good price that doesnt break the bank.

So what kind,of cold steel,knife is this?
How much and where do you buy em?
Cool I may.
I carry a spring assisted kershaw, it's a great blade.
I also have a spyderco. Always lookin for something else though.
I am trying to figure out how it works.............
