Early Mother’s Day.........(Father’s Day too!)

My lovely wife informed me Saturday morning that she wanted to go to Home Depot to pick out her Mother’s Day present. Being the extraordinarily wonderful hubby that I am I said OK, let’s go. When we got there, she headed directly to the chainsaw display and chose a new Dewalt battery powered chainsaw.

Got an extra battery too. This thing is much better than I expected, plenty powerful and the battery will last about two hours of use.

LOL,, My daughter got one just like it for Christmas,, loves it.

Yep, my wife does too. She trimmed up a bunch of low hanging tree limbs Saturday and then Sunday afternoon with our daughter and SIL we cut some trees near the end of their driveway that hindered their view when trying to enter the road.

Poppa that's what I need to get me,, Got 10 tool boxes and can't find anything. Where did you get it from?

Home Depot, this replaced two smaller boxes I had used for years. Had one for SAE tools and another for metric. I really like having them all in one chest but with plenty of room to keep them separate.

in this pic you can see the two smaller boxes that were replaced.
