Thats a lot to move dirt

I've done some commercial development & understand that site prep can be pricey.
A local developer built some condo's into the side of a steep mountain up here & spent around $2 mil. fighting the topography.
I agree that 100k sounds steep for one unit but I didn't see the before picture of the ground.

Regardless, 450k seems pretty high for the overall package.
 
Oh yea thats steep I've moved my fair share of dirt an poured thousands of yards of cement an thats a pricey job as well. Usually a little over $100 a yard for class A cement but in this case class B would work. The around $8 extra per yard for fiber. Then the rebar. And figure in a few dollars per sqft to finish the cement. So yea it will cost.
 
Im sure you could make your own from cargo containers for less than 200 and still end up with similar quality, but definately like the show
