That's awful. But I wonder how would the racket and sound of the corn harvester not wake you up?

I've got nieces and nephews that (when teenagers) wouldn't wake if you set off 5lbs of Tannerite 15 yards away.

Some folks sleep very soundly. My wife can sleep through a thunderstorm that shakes the house for 30 minutes.

The younger they are, the worse it is. Some children can sleep through a smoke detector in alarm IN their bedroom.

Me too. Those kind or box stands is all I cared to hunt from . Sling type seat with tree in back and rail all around.
Woke up an shot a deer a few times, but seen a few too late too.
