I do, however believe in Fate, in that any decision we think we have made will lead to a predetermined outcome.

I agree with the second part of this statement. This first part, not so much. I’ve seen plenty of people never get what’s coming. At least not here on earth.

I’m not sure if I believe in karma but I do believe in treating other as I would like to be treated. It never hurts to be kind, courteous, professional and have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

Yes, and I don't think there's any statute of limitations for when your bad actions come bite you in the ass. This life is only one aspect of your existence. There's all of eternity after this physical life.

Remember the end of the parable of the tares being sown with the wheat?

Matthew 13:29-30

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Maybe for some people it takes a very long time for the wheat to finish growing along with their tares. Maybe that doesn't get harvested until they're done with this life. Then they get to stand before God with this giant ass pile of tares and an itty bitty stack of wheat.
