I want and set up a "32" alert in handguns forum. I like 32ACP. If I search, it excludes 320, for example. But it triggered the keyword alert. Is the logic different? Can I do something to avoid those filthy Sigs? Would "32 -320" do what I want?

Thanks

Whut?

On some (but no all) search engines, a "minus" symbol followed by a certain "criteria" would not include said criteria in search.... In his example, if he searched 32 and added -320 in the field all results containing 32 would be listed while omitting results with 320 in them. His question is basically does our search function operate the same?

Right. In effect, I'm asking if boolean operator symbols or words work in the keyword alerts. I want hits that are "32", not "320". If I use "32 -320" or "32 NOT 320", would it do what I want?
