those are both tile already. this is for a living room and hallway for now, followed by bedrooms later on.

What ever you do, buy some extra and put it in storage for repairs. You know the f*cking manufacturer will discontinue the product within 6 months of your install......

Thanks, I can’t remember the brand name of this (had 1 1/2 boxes left over but they are out in my shop) but I think the color is called “weathered pine”. We are very pleased with it and so far it has held up well.

Depends on the grade of laminate. Some of it is garbage particle board that swells when it gets wet and can chip around the edges. The vinyl I've seen like at my mom's house looks as good as any wood I've seen and is very scratch and damage resistant.

pretty self explanatory. i hate my carpet and want to swap it out. havent decided between laminate or vinyl and wondered what folks have tried and what kinda of success they had

LVP is great for wet areas. I did the whole living area including kitchen and bath.
