Two things to remember when buying anything:

1. Caveat Emptor.

2. Due Diligence (DD). (Homework ).

This is a must, particularly when you are a newbie on the scene.

Good luck, and if you can get a refund /restocking charge (up to 15%) go for it.

My first gun was the Amt backup .45 for $250 in good condition. Private sale aswell.
I just dont go in store to pick up guns ‍ not that im a felon or any of that nonsense.

Is Colt making new Series 70’s 1911’s?
$1500 for a Mint Like New All Original Series 70 Colt Commander or LW Commander from the 1970’s may be close to $1500. Colt Combat Gov’t Series 70 Like New Mint & Original Unmodified might easily bring $1500.

Idk what year mine is im not home rn, but here in Texas they go sometimes go higher then $1600. I know if i wanted to let mines go i could make some profit not much.
