We always use to joke that knew when it started and headed for the Blue Ridge National Forrest land that day.

I was sitting in my spot I picked out about a quarter mile from Nat. Forest. It was before first light and a damn scretch owl lit off and I damn near pissed my pants. 15 min after that a freaking massive mess a deer swarmed all around me. All I did was put my hands over my eyes so I wouldn't catch a horn in them. They were stomping, snorting, rubbing trees and everything else. Sounded like 20 of them. I swear the SOB's knew we were there and couldn't shoot in the dark. LOL Cunning bastards I know that.

That was about 10 miles from where I live now. It was just off Nat. Forest land.
