Deer Jerky

In...I've been trying different recipes but haven't found the perfect combination yet.
I made this last week but the orange flavor was a bit overwhelming, I'm going to try it again with less orange and a teriyaki sauce.

after I slice the meat - a little more than 1/4"
I add my seasoning
for me the key is - I place the slices between 'Press-n-Seal' (it last longer than Saran wrap) then I use the flat side of meat tenderizer and beat the seasoning in, which also flattens the meat to a little less than 1/4"
then into the dehydrator

Try this one time, I Gar rown tee you will like it

I’ll try it! No marinating? What do you season it with?

I never wet the meat
and
i never make the seasoning exactly the same
and the amounts very, I just add a little of everything
the key is, cut the slices a little thicker and pounding the seasoning into the meat

I cut venison across the grain. Semi frozen almost as thin as i can.
Marinade in a mixture of Dr. Pepper and Jalepenos overnight.
smoke on the traeger for 4-5hrs. so freaking good!
