So the kids are finally of that age where a trip to our nation's capital will leave a lasting impression. So besides the crowd for the city's Independence day celebration. We're looking forward to seeing the national parade. As well as the White house, Capital building, Smithsonian (American History; Air and Space), Pentagon's 9/11 memorial, Arlington cemetery, and the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. So what else is there to see or do that might not be the most popular destination?

The spy museum!
It’s really neat place.

Good for kids and adults.

It is a glimpse into the history and some more modern cases.
They had a “James Bond” exhibit last time I was there.
I looked into this and thought it looked cool. I was hesitant since it's like $25 a head, but good to know it's worth the coin.

Lots of bums there. The dangerous ones wear $3,000 suits. Lots of great things to do though. The museum's are cool. I'd hit the Lincoln memorial.
yet we can't carry.
Makes perfect sense.
EXACTLY why I haven't been back to NYC since mid 2000s

When I plan out of state vacations I study the CCW reciprocity map.
