I had no idea until recently even the gubmint is getting into prepping... lol.

Before Katrina, the various govt acronyms recommended three days of food and water. After Sandy, some changed to three weeks, because they understood that it took approx 2-3 weeks to restore basic services in some areas. We saw it again with Harvey as the storm lasted so long and some were cut off from evacuation routes. I’m surprised that the govt has returned to the three day thing again. Heck... We’ve seen the folly of that with Wuhan. Three weeks food and water minimum. A month plus is better. Might be a good idea to be able to protect it since plenty won’t bother to even have three days worth.
