I think in my neighborhood they are happier to feed them and then wonder where their cats are a couple days later

The ones on Nextdoor who are mortified at the thought of anyone killing a coyote (or anything) and are equally insulted that you suggest they keep their freaking cat inside (who they apparently believe to be "Simba of the Serengeti") are invariably the ones posting the "Have you seen my Fluffy? Here's his picture. I'm just distraught and heart broken and can't even think about what may happen to him out there all alone. "
I just shake my head and think "Relax Karen. Fluffy is yote scat. He's not feeling anything anymore."
