Cow farms for beef above ATL?

If your serious, I might go halves. It will be from Mississippi though. Wifes cousin has a couple hundred. I have mentioned this to him and was told they cull and pin said cow and feed corn for a couple months. The trick is how it is slaughtered, with hanging time being the most important factor. The farm must be willing to fatten it up and the butcher must have room to hang it for 60-90 days.

The cuts are another difficult part. how much of what?
 
Apple Valley processor in Jefferson used to do cows. They might be able to put you in touch with someone who would sell a cow to you.
 
I am wondering how are they going to get the cows to hover over Atlanta. Seems like it would be a lot easier to keep them up north. It would be easier to keep the somewhere were floating them in the air wouldn't be so logistically difficult. I mean I don't own a ranch so I don't know how these things work. I see them all the time up here in Virginia roaming around in open fields.
