Most of the big bumpers(ranch hand, arb, fabfours, etc.) are built stronger than the truck. Most trucks have "crush zones or cans" designed to take impact from a crash, so if you hit a cow or deer, there is a good chance you will still have fender damage. Just my opinion on the matter from installing dozens
