Corona virus mortality statistics

This is from yesterday. I compile it for friends and family (some in England).

Fatality rates, deaths and confirmed cases by countries hardest hit. I've sorted the list by fatality rate. If the fatality rate increased or decreased from the previous day I've noted with a > or <.

Worldwide - 4.4% >; 14,629; 335,995
Italy - 9.3% >; 5476; 59,138
Iran - 7.8% >; 1685; 21,638
Spain - 6.1% >; 1756; 28,603
UK - 4.9% >; 281; 5683
Mainland China - 4%; 3261; 81,054
France - 4.2% >; 674; 16,018
Netherlands - 4.2% >; 179; 4204
US - 1.3%; 432; 32,974
South Korea - 1.1%; 104; 8897
Germany - 0.4% >; 94; 24,852

Notes:
- This is a snapshot in time.
- It doesn't address confirmed cases which are an indicator of how that nation's medical system is being impacted by the virus. You can look at the attached source data for that perspective.
- The additional COVID-19 caseload is most likely on top of existing, anticipated or forecasted medical workload. Hence the urgent need to reduce additional infections.

Here's where I get the data. The link will have current data as opposed to yesterday's screen grab.

"Site can not be reached" . In my least "smart ***" voice... do you have one of those on the old flu? Thank You for posting. I think I've made enemies here that I never wanted to make saying "Calm Down" Not LOL . Crazy world we live in

above_all above_all

What is the deal with the German numbers? This is the second time I have seen such low numbers for them and the death rate is 10x lower than most.

The virus is racist. It effects different races/genetic/ethnicities differently cause it was made in a lab.
