The team who wanted most tonite got it.. being number 1 is hard… dawgs take that target.. it’s a hard row to hoe
IF the dawgs win the SEC...depending on the spread...bama still has a real good shot at being in the playoffs. depends on how close a game it is. and vice versa...dawgs lose by a FG...they probably make it in.
The decision makers will still try to find a way to make their poster child, I mean Alabama #1... Georgia needs to keep on keeping on, they got that big target now...
Will it be nice to be ranked #1? Yes
Do I think it really matters that much right now as far as the playoffs are concerned? No.
Like others have already said. The SEC title game is probably going to be the real deciding factor in who gets in. We'll enjoy the hell out of it while it lasts though!

Truth. I said that in the other Bama thread when people were saying that Georgia's schedule was weak because UGA was not playing that many ranked teams. And now look what happened last night...
That's what I love about college ball. Rankings don't matter. It's whatever team shows up with heart on any given day. If GA keeps that in mind we have a great shot this year.
