my daughter is wanting to start bow hunting for deer. Her accuracy is good I’m not worried with that. She has been shooting for a few years. But before I let her take a shot at a deer I’m wanting to have a better idea of lethality. I bow hunt but have always been 70lbs or so. So what’s you guys opinion?

I'm pretty sure Ted Nugent hunts all over the world at 50lbs, and I think his wife's is less than that.

Yeah I’ve heard the same. But right now she is at 30. I wasn’t sure if that is really good enough. Maybe it is and I’m being to picky about it.

Ha does not have a minimum draw weight. I thought back in the day I’d seen it as well. But looked last night and it’s not regulated.

When I was a kid, I was in an archery club and we couldn’t go deer hunting until we could pull a 40# draw weight and shoot accurately but that was with a recurve bow.
