I have collected currency for a long time. Early American money up into WWII era is not only beautiful, but almost all of the notes have a great historical story with them. Thought I would share my set of Hawaii emergency currency now that I have completed the set.

When I was stationed in Hawaii in the early fifties we were still paid in cash --
A lot of the bills were hawaiian - since the pay was small, most common hawaiian bills were $2 denomination -- i know i never saw a $50 -- e3 was about $115.mo --
Hawaii was still a territory --
ps -- I do have almost complete set of coins -- 1883 1 think --
missing the nickle and the 1/8 dollar --
