Just dropped a deposit on the next home. No internet available, cell phone or Ill be going to a local library. It still has a power pole with a motorized antenna at the top. But it should be 5 years before I get there so maybe that rural broadband project will be working by then.

It is somewhat pricy but satellite internet is available.

Checking into it, some no longer hook up to copper wire phone lines for the upload and if you don't have good cell service your screwed.

All depends on the service you get from them. I’m on gigabit fiber for 70 bucks a month and it kicks ass. 1000 down, 1000 up.

They all hated it.
