Comparator

I really don’t know how I screwed this up all the time but my question was if you are not bench rest shooting or shooting at 1000 yards does this make that much difference?

It’s another step towards consistency. I don’t know if you can assign a quantifiable number to it alone as far as group shrinkage. The bullet comparator and an OAL tool by Hornady are handy. You can keep track of throat erosion a lot easier with one and adjust jump accordingly. I tried using a split neck method to set bullet depth before I got one and numbers were all over the place. It’s worth it if you want to get all you can get out of your rifle I think.
