My grandpa was 501st of the 101st, Charlie company. He was a Toccoa man. In the last few years he was alive he shared a lot of his experiences in WW2 with me. He was also a contract killer and mercenary for the OSS and CIA for nearly 30 years after the war. They don't hardly make men like that any more.
