Met him years ago when I was helping the Toccoa Museum with one of the 101st reunions that was held there. He was surprised that I knew of him from the BOB show as the actor who portrayed him did not have that much screen time. I drove "Wild" Bill Guarnere (pictured) up Currahee mountain that same day in my '43 GPW.

As a former member of the 101st 58-60. I salute these heroic gentlemen. You paved the way and brought Pride, Honor and Glory to this nation. May all your parachutes open and gently descend into a Hall of Glory.
