Clayton deputy placed on leave following viral video of arrest

Hate to be the contrarian, but when you read the whole story, the cop was out of bounds from the get go.

Either bad training or bad temperament, he shouldn't have been interacting with this citizen in the first place.

Nothing in the cop/citizen interaction justified any use or display of force by the officer.

Somehow they are going to have to get the word down through the ranks that you can't beat the **** out of someone over a broken taillight. This dude wasn't driving, wasn't the owner, had nothing to do with the supposed offense. Write the ticket and go on.
