Well i finally got to take the Sig to the range. Man I love it! I'm really trying to figure out how this model slipped pass me. It has officially been moved to my everyday carry gun spot.

She's got good taste. The P228 seems to be the forgotten model. Same dimensions as the P229 but lighter.

I had shot a 229 in the past and though it was "ok". I thought the recoil on this one would be worse, but to my surprise this 228 seems easier to make follow up shots with. I guess it is because you don't have the heavier slide pulling the muzzle up?

That's exactly it. Less inertia in the slide = less muzzle flip.

The only problem I see with this gun is the fact that I want another one!

Sigs are like a disease. But not one of those nasty diseases like herpes.. One you actually want to have.
